Official Rules – The Stargazer Cannabis Cup
Stargazer Cannabis Festival | July 25–27, 2025 | Waverly, Ohio

                         Highest Cash Prize for any Cannabis Cup in US History! 

Eligibility
All competitors must be present at Stargazer Cannabis Festival to participate and be at the award ceremony on Sunday at High Noon to win.
Festival admission is required to compete in The Stargazer Cannabis Cup. This is a unique, all-weekend competition happening live at the festival. Think of it as the cannonball of cannabis cups- fast, intense and all in one splash. Judging takes place Friday and Saturday, with winners awarded Sunday.

Entry Fee
Each entry is $50.
There is no limit to the number of entries per category or the number of categories a competitor can enter.

Competition Timeline
• Entry Drop-Off: Thursday, July 24 – Friday, July 25
→ Entry Deadline: Friday at 4:20 PM at the Stargazer Cannabis Festival Headquarters Booth

• Judging Kit Pick-Up: Friday, July 25 at 7:10 PM at the Headquarters Booth

• Scorecard Turn-In Deadline: Saturday, July 26 by 10:00 PM at the Headquarters Booth

• Awards Ceremony: Sunday, July 27 at High Noon (12:00 PM) on the Main Stage

Awards & Prizes
• 1st & 2nd Place Awards will be given in every category
• Only one entry will earn the prestigious Best In Show title
• The Best In Show winner receives the official Silver and Gold Stargazer Cannabis Cup filled with $2,500 cash

Categories & Sample Requirements
Samples are for judges, QA and testing in the following amounts:  

Indoor Flower –  14 x 1g samples

Outdoor Flower – 14 x 1g  samples

Concentrates (Solvent-Based) – 14 x 0.5g samples

Concentrates (Solventless) – 14 x 0.5g samples

Edibles (including Beverages) – 14 sample portions

CBD Products – 14 x 0.5g samples

Vape Cartridges – 14 cartridges

Pre-Rolls – 14 pre-rolls

RSO / FECO – 14 x 0.5g syringes

Infused Products (Tinctures, Topicals, Moonrocks) – 14 x 1g /1 fluid oz samples

Unbranded Packaging Only: All entries must be submitted with no branding, logos or identifying marks. 

Pre-Separated Samples Required: Do not submit bulk product. Each sample must be separated and individually packaged.
